Book Contributions:

Thank you for considering us for book or item donations.  The library will accept books in hardcover format which meet our collection needs and are in good condition.

We will accept audio books in CD format and videos in DVD format which meet our needs and are in good condition.

Any items that we cannot accept for our collection we may put out our Donation Shelf or may give to the Friends of the Library for fund raisers.

Mission of Building Improvement Fund:

Alma Public Library is looking to the future for building needs;  whether to refurbish our existing building, enlarge it or replace it.   Our service area is growing rapidly and we have a great need for a separate Teen area, Children’s area and Adult study area.   We have a growing need for larger stations for public computers.  Shelf space overflows each year, and we would like to be able to have enough room to keep the most beloved items alongside the newer popular titles. Our fund to date is approximately $7,500.  (Dec 2012)

To Purchase a Library Book Bag:

You will enjoy this large canvas book bag with inside pocket for all your library items.  It is water-resistant and very durable.  The library is asking for a donation of $8.00 for each bag with the proceeds going to the Building Improvement Fund.  You may pick up the bag at Your Alma Public Library Circulation Desk.
