As part of week seven of our summer reading program, Puzzling Pieces, you can explore the Alma Cemetery to learn about historic figures in Alma, check out some amazing stonework and design, and spend time outdoors.  This scavenger hunt is in partnership with the Friends of the Alma Cemeteries.  Materials and information will be provided by volunteers at the cemetery.  Bring your completed scavenger hunt form to the library for your prize drawing slip.

AUDIENCE:  12 and up Join a team of four or sign up an entire team of four to put together a 300-piece puzzle.  This timed competition will be a chance to put your puzzling skills to the test.  The fastest team to finish will win a sweet treat!  Registration required no later than Friday, July 10. Space is limited.  The competition will begin promptly at 3:30, so arrive a little early.

Play & Learn at the Library!  Join us for a fun and interactive Play & Learn Group at the Alma Public Library! Date: July 15 Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM This special program is hosted by the Child Care Partnership and is designed for children birth to age 5. Siblings are welcome to join the fun too! Come enjoy:  Hands-on play activities Early learning fun A chance for families to connect It’s also a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn more about local community resources and support for young children.   No registration needed—just drop in and play! Bonus: Just coming and playing gets you an entry slip into our prize drawing!
